Today is sjab anuual flag day!! met my group(aziz and suria) at 8 plus at the clementi control station before heading to buona vista to begin our mission.....haha well kinda. Fortunately for us, Aziz lives in that estate so he was our 'tour guide'.. he showed us where ghim moh gardens was and we started asking people at the hawker centre, coffee shops etc etc..basically anywhere where there was people..hahaha..i learnt quite a bit from the couple of hours..e.g how to get people's attention and to try and get them to donate(:
It was interesting to see the different kinds of people on this earth..some are very willing and generous, some can't be bothered, some really appreciate ur efforts, some are queer and mysterious etc etc.. oh i met one lady who was apparently waiting for me to give her the sticker before she could put her coin in..super funny..i gave her the abit lost/ blur kinda expression haha..its as if she was 'paying for the sticker' hmm..weirdo.
i was quite satisfied with myself today..why? cos i managed to complete a tin and almost a half!!haha..my hard work paid off(: wish i can put in this amount of effort into my studies man..lols..dead tired..nitex
